8. Dunkleosteus: The Prehistoric Cannibal
Dunkleosteus was a terrifying armored fish that lived in the late Devonian period. It was a fearsome predator known for eating its own kind, making it cannibalistic. It could grow up to 33 feet long and had jaws as powerful as a Tyrannosaurus rex. Its bite force was so strong that it could crush metal, which made it a highly effective predator.
Although Dunkleosteus mainly fed on other Dunkleosteus, it was not limited to cannibalism and could also hunt and eat other creatures, including humans, if given the chance.
